Taylor Bennett-Wiens

Taylor Bennett-Wiens is a photographer from Toledo. She wrote that the goal of her work is to "display the beauty that often goes overlooked in our day to day lives. I've always been passionate about nature and wildlife, and especially the conservation of it. I'm a full time mom and going to school full time to hopefully one day make a difference in our world, and my photographs will help me do that. When I share my art with others the phrase I hear the most is "I've seen that before, but I've never seen it like this." In my photographs I show you the beautiful perspective of things we see every day, so that we can be reminded to appreciate the life that Earth provides. My inspiration is National Geographic Photographer Brian Skerry, Danish Photographer Jim Lyngvild, and even my own son. He likes to join me on my photography outings and became interested in taking pictures himself. I want to help create a world that both him and other children will be able to thrive in."
