The Yaquina River Museum of Art has been active for about two decades, and not only is it a wonderful place to see local art and their rotating exhibitions, they are also engaged in the community. They sponsor the once a month 1st Weekend Art Celebration shows around town, are members of our ART Toledo committee, and sponsor the Annual Toledo Art Walk- a Labor Day weekend event celebrating Toledo art and artists.

ART GALLERY DEDICATED TO RENOWNED LOCAL ARTIST MICHAEL GIBBONS
Michael Gibbons was born in Portland, Oregon in 1943. He was a self-taught painter, and from a young age showed great artistic talent. He moved to Toledo, Oregon when he was 25 and dedicated himself to painting the beautiful coastal scenery around him. Michael was very passionate about his art, and his work and successful career demonstrates his talent and fervor for art and nature. Him and his wife resided in Toledo for the remainder of his years until he passed in July 2020.

ART STUDIO-GALLERY DEVOTED TO THE ESTEEMED ART OF IVAN KELLY
Ivan Kelly was born in Northern Ireland. He remembers running around the fields, woodlands and coasts of the beautiful and diverse country as a child and always being inspired as an artist at heart. Ivan emigrated to America in 1972, and admired the new landscapes like the Rocky Mountains, which influenced his progression into the successful artist he became. He opened up his gallery in Toledo in 1993.

The Yaquina Pacific Railroad Society is an interactive and educative experience located in the heart of Toledo. It highlights Toledo's rich history as a railroad and mill hub in the Pacific Northwest since its establishment. The museum currently features a 1907 Southern Pacific wood-sided caboose, a Baldwin steam engine known locally as “One Spot", a 1923 Southern Pacific Railway Post Office car, and much more!
