Tom Ettel

Tom Ettel has a studio in Newport where he creates a collection of sculptures inspired by his experiences on the coast. He is intrigued with the beauty and mysteries of the sea and local forests and brings whimsy and expression to his human and animal sculptures. His sculptures include acrylic paints, wine corks, styrofoam, wire, beads, and Apoxie Sculpt.

All of his works are original, starting with a sketch and transforming into a sculpture. He studied Art at the University of Oregon.
